It is kind of funny. When I was a student at the University of Minnesota I spent a lot of time in the library reading The New Yorker, including back issues. I always kind of thought about living in New York. And, for some strange reason, I always thought I would end up married to a Chinese woman. Through a strange set of circumstances, I now live in New York and married to a Chinese woman. Fate? Well, before I ever met my wife to be she spent a couple of weeks in my cubicle at work while I was out on assignment. Then we were assigned to the same project. It was almost like fate had thrust us together. But oh, by what a circuitous route.

We met you in June of 2009 at the Chip Shop before we left NYC and I've read your blog ever since. With an almost four year absence from posting, we were a little concerned! Hope you and your wife are well. We really do enjoy your blog.
A bit worried not seeing recent posts.
Hope you are well.
