The Mystery

Just time for a quick post before we get picked up by our driver for a day-trip to a park and a few neighboring small towns.

The other day when we were taking our stroll along the river we came upon this sight.

What Does It Mean?


One person's clothes, including underwear, spread out upon the bank of the river with no one in sight. My theory was that someone decided to end it all by jumping in the river and didn't want to get their clothes wet. Given that the river is quite shallow, but fast moving and rocky, I would guess they would have been battered to death.

I am sure there is probably a more mundane explanation, but I quite prefer mine.
