My View

Why do I think that the President of the United States appearing on "The View" is totally inappropriate?  Please, don't let him jump on the couch while proclaiming his love for America.

What's next, "The Jerry Springer Show"?

The View is rubbish, but generally harmless. Is it possible that there is nothing that this President could you that you'd regard as appropriate?

Actually, I am, for the most part, a fan of Obama. I do think that he spends way too much time in front of the camera, however. His appearance on the Tonight Show was the first time a sitting president appeared on a late night chat show. He followed that up a few months later with an appearance on Letterman. His appearance on The View is the first time a sitting president has appeared on a daytime talk show (other than the Sunday morning ones). And in his first year as Pesident he gave 90 television interviews and 42 news conferences. This is far more than any other President during their first year.

The amount of pure idiocy on the View is amazing. Obama is foolish to allow any of that to rub off on him. You have to wonder what he or his handlers are thinking.
