Photobucket

I am sorry that you have not been able to see my pictures. I did not know that Photobucket had a restriction on how many photos they would host. I am going to switch to a new host or upgrade within a day or two. I had over twenty thousand hits today and the biggest thing people will remember is that Photobucket didn't display the pictures. I probably was a bit too harsh in my original assessment of their service though because the number of hits so far exceeded what I usually get that even if I was aware of the limitations I probably would never have thought I would exceed it.

Hello.com is really nice. I've been using it for some time now, and it is pretty easy.

I just read bout you on Yahoo, good luck 1000 Bars, I think.

It must be hard to drink all those drinks whatever you are drinking, but I think I'm gona stick with one place to get my favorite drink, water from the sink.

I never had a problem with Photobucket, and my blog gets alot of visits from my blog friends, and my pictures are still up.

Have a nice day 1000 Bars, and drink some water for me!

Do you have any plans on coming to Indiana?

I think photobucket offers unlimited bandwith and storage space for a yearly fee of something like $25. Well worth it, IMO. If you ever take a jaunt up to Syracuse, stop by in the afternoon on the 2nd or 4th Saturday of the month to Kitty Hoyne's on Fayette St. Great music, great beer, and just a great atmosphere. Good luck in your quest!

Saw you in MSN news. Interesting endeavor! Don't be too hard on photobucket. The site is programmed to automatically stop at so much bandwidth (bandwidth is spensive). Ya never know, they migth pay you to stay since you're all famous now and all that. ;)

Love your site! Good luck in the mission. Imageshack seems to work well for photo hosting, you might want to give it a shot. If you're ever in Michigan look me up, I'd love to meet with you for a cold one.

Hey I saw your blog thru MSNBC and I think is great. In regards to Photobucket, I have a suggestion....why don't you try flickr.com? is a good service and it's free. Think about it!

Bye bye ;)

Try using Geocities for your pictures. You'll probably exceed bandwidth the first month or so, considering how many hits you're going to get from MSN. But your traffic will taper off eventually.

You're going to run into trouble using the free services anyhow, considering the fact that your story has been picked up by "big media."

Cheers!

Wow, that sucks. So you just exceeded the bandwidth, and now no photos show up?

You gotta use flickr! As for your quest, myself and the other developers that I work with have decided that when we retire, we'll do what you have done. Except that maybe we'll double the number of bars:-) Regards!

I just looked at photo bucket. Upgrade your account for $25.00 for the year. Add google ads to your blog and it will probably easily pay for itself!! The images are already there.

Hey, if you decide to do 1000 bars accross the country, let me know when you come through Des Moines, Iowa. We'll have a couple pints. Cheers!
