Just a quick follow-up to my last post. The New York Daily News is now counting down the number of days until LeBron James becomes a free agent. Forty-four today, in case you are interested.
They even have a website you can visit:
http://www.getlebron.com/
And, in yet another bit of bizzare logic, the New York Daily News thinks LeBron should come to the Knicks because he can't win a title in Cleveland. Excuse me. This from the Knicks who don't even have a first-round draft pick this year because we traded it away to get Stephon Marbury.
In case you have forgotten, in that trade back in 2004 the Knicks acquired Marbury, Penny Hardaway and Cezary Trybanski from Phoenix for Antonio McDyess, Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, Maciej Lampe, the rights to Milos Vujanic, two first-round draft picks and cash.
Yeah, the Knicks are sure the team you want to go to if you want to win a title because they have a history of building winning teams since Dolan has taken control.
Okay, Okay, I think I am gradually working through my anger at the Knicks. Maybe I can let it go after the play-offs are over.
Oh, by the way, what team is Stephon Marbury helping win a title this year?
